Kept
A visual memory archive for saving, tagging, and retrieving links discovered through Instagram reels.
01 / Context
Discovered links should not disappear into bookmarks.
Instagram reels frequently showcase resources, products, and articles, but standard bookmarks lose the visual memory of the discovery.
Kept is a visual memory archive built to capture the context, creator name, and media references of saved items.
02 / Problem
Standard bookmark tools strip away creator context and visual cues.
Users usually remember *where* and *from whom* they discovered a resource, but typical browsers list folders that flatten this metadata, resulting in high retrieval friction.
03 / Strategy
Lead with visual grid structures, creator tags, and lightning filters.
The workspace uses a masonry card list emphasizing thumbnail media, creator handles, and date ranges. Fast search filters query by tags, notes, or creators.
04 / Development
Responsive Next.js components connected to secure real-time storage.
The implementation utilizes Next.js Server Components, Tailwind CSS layouts, and Supabase database integrations to manage users' saved items securely and responsively.
05 / Reflection
What the next version needs.
The next step is to replace the current typographic cover with approved project imagery, complete the production content and validate the experience with real users.
